San Rocco di Camogli è un piccolo villaggio sopra Camogli, nel Parco del Monte di Portofino, arroccato su un costone di 250 mt a picco sul mare. Qui finisce la strada asfaltata e parte una rete di sentieri e percorsi del Parco. A San Rocco ci sono i servizi essenziali: panetteria, alimentari, frutta e verdura, macelleria, bar-tabacchi, ufficio postale, ristoranti.
A San Rocco ci sono diverse iniziative: sagre, concerti in chiesa, la festa del cane. Dal belvedere di San Rocco si vede tutto il ponente ligure, da Punta Chiappa a Savona.
L’accesso in auto è consentito solo ai residenti sabato e domenica dalle 7 alle 20; si può parcheggiare all’inizio del villaggio sulla strada o in un parcheggio a 300 mt.
Si arriva da Camogli a piedi lungo la pedonale (su cui si trovano le case) in mezz’ora di salita oppure in autobus.

A small village just above Camogli in the Portofino Park.
The village is located on a 250 meter cliff overlooking the sea and the Gulf of Genoa.
The road ends into the church square.
A number of paths lead to Punta Chiappa, the very end of the peninsula of the Mount Portofino Park with its deep blue sea water, San Fruttuoso, the recently refurbished old abbey that can be reached by a public boat service from Porto Pidocchio and Portofino.
Bus and taxi service available from and to Camogli railway station and San Rocco.
By train from Camogli: Genoa (30 min. approx.), Santa Margherita (10 min. approx.), Rapallo (15 min. approx.) Cinque Terre (40 min. approx.). Genoa airport (45 min. approx.). Lucca is just over one hour away on the motorway.
Bakery, food, fruits and vegetables, butcher, post office, tobacco, bars and restaurants are available in the village of San Rocco.
A 30 min. scenic walk leads from the church of San Rocco to Camogli where restaurants, boat, bus, train and taxi and beach services are available.
Cars are allowed within the village boundary only on week-days. On weekends, non-residents may park their cars along the road outside the village and/or in the parking lot just before the village. On weekends, non-residents can enter the village with their cars only before 7a.m. and after 8 p.m.
